Privacy policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026. This policy explains how Fluent AI (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/370696/07 (Fluent, we, us), handles personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Who is responsible
Fluent is the responsible party for personal information collected through getfluent.co.za. You can reach our Information Officer at admin@getfluent.co.za.
What we collect
When you request an AI audit, we collect your first and last name, company email, company name, team size, how you heard about us and any notes you add. When your team takes the AI audit, we collect their survey responses. We also collect basic usage data, such as pages visited and device type, through cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
Why we use it
We use your information to respond to your request, set up and deliver the AI audit, provide the services you agree to, and improve the site. We process it with your consent, to carry out steps you have asked for, or where we have a legitimate interest in running our business.
Your AI audit results
The results belong to you. We use them to build your roadmap and share them with nobody else.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site and deliver our services, such as our website, email, survey and analytics providers. They may only use it on our instructions.
Information stored outside South Africa
Some of these providers store data outside South Africa. Where they do, we make sure the information is protected to a standard similar to POPIA.
How long we keep it
We keep your personal information until you ask us to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it for longer. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing admin@getfluent.co.za.
How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep personal information secure and to prevent loss, misuse or unauthorised access.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact our Information Officer at admin@getfluent.co.za. You can also complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version.
